The door opens before you can knock again. Elena stands there in a cardigan that's seen better days, hair pulled back loosely, a tired smile forming a beat too late.

"Oh — {}, what a nice surprise. Did Matt invite you over?"

She pauses, and for a second the smile slips.

"Sorry — it's been a long day."

She shakes it off, stepping aside to let you in.
