Frequently Asked Questions
What is Elymi?
Elymi combines AI character chat with video stories. Meet a character through a scene video, then continue the story through free, unlimited chat on Elymi Web or in the iOS and Android app.
What is the difference between a character and a scene?
A character has a personality and speaking style. A scene gives that character a setting and an opening situation for your conversation. You can create a new scene for an existing character, or create your own character and scenes.
Can I create my own AI characters?
Yes. Create your own character and scenes, or create new scenes for characters made by other creators. Set a personality, speaking style, and opening situation for a character of your own.
Am I watching a video or chatting with a character?
A scene video introduces the character and situation. Continue the story through free, unlimited AI chat on Elymi Web or in the app. You can also use Stars to generate images and videos during a chat. Each chat reply does not automatically generate a video.
Is Elymi free, and which languages are supported?
Elymi is free to download, with free, unlimited chat on the web and in the app. New users can earn a total of 1,400 free Stars through check-ins to generate videos and images. We support English, Japanese, Korean, and Traditional Chinese.
How are my conversations handled?

Do Elymi characters remember our conversations?
